Alicia has lived in New Orleans since 1989 and is of counsel to the law firm of Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver, L.L.P. She is certified as a specialist in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization and has been named a “Louisiana Super Lawyer” in the categories of business bankruptcy, business litigation, and debtor-creditor rights. Alicia has served on numerous boards of community organizations and charter schools, including most recently, serving as the President of the Homer A. Plessy Community School, an arts integrated, project based, K-8 school in the French Quarter.
